If you or someone you know lives with restricted nasal airflow and constant congestion, we want you to know about a NEW non-invasive outpatient procedure called VivAer Nasal Remodeling. VivAer Nasal Remodeling is a simple treatment done in the office under local anesthetic (lidocaine or equivalent). VivAer Nasal Remodeling opens nasal passages and restores free breathing in minutes.
Many people have lived so long with restricted nasal airflow that they forget what unrestricted breathing feels like. In addition, their health has been impacted by chronic sleep disturbances and the associated risks for heart disease, diabetes, and sub-optimal job performance. Now, thanks to the new Vivaer procedure, there’s a simple, one-time treatment that can open your nasal passages and restore free breathing without surgery.
Vivaer Nasal Airway Remodeling uses a low-temperature process that gently reshapes tissue of the nasal airway to help you breathe easier right away. Are you a candidate? Take the test below.

Nasal Anatomy & How VivAer Works
Can VivAer Nasal Remodeling help you?
How can you determine if your nasal valve is restricted? There’s a simple self-check routine called the Cottle’s Maneuver that can help you learn whether your obstructed breathing is due to nasal valve collapse.
Here’s how to do it:
- Place the tips of one or two fingers on your cheeks on each side of your nose.
- Press and pull outward very gently to slightly open the nasal valve.
If this helps you inhale more easily through your nose, the obstruction is likely to be in the
nasal valve and you should discuss it with Dr. Sall.
